I had a very poopy day!

July 10, 2008 at 5:24 pm (Today...)

I do not like changing diapers, but especially poopy diapers. I am convinced that my daughters bowels are the same as her fathers because there is nothing feminine about what comes out of there.

Anyway, like most days my daughter had an extremely large poop, and I like most days I plugged my nose, got out the gloves and went to town changing her. But unlike most days I happened to get it everywhere… without knowing it.

I was all dressed and ready for a mid morning trip to target with Beckey when I started changing her too. So I pick her up, pack up our things, and head to the car. I got CB all buckled in her car seat and I look down and she has poop on her arm. So I said to myself, “Ew… that is gross,” and cleaned her off. Then I reach down to grab the diaper bag and there is poop on the bag. Now I am thinking, where is it coming from? Then to my dismay and apparently horrible sense of smell I look down only to find poop all over my shirt.

This was unfortunate, I started backtracking and I realized that this was probably why I had a brief and awkward conversation with my neighbor. He saw the poop and ran!

After cleaning myself off, and my child, and the diaper bag we were off to the Spectrum. We had a great time in Target and a wonderful walk to Wahoo’s for lunch. Oh, but in my search for a child accommodating table a bird poops all over my babies stroller. To which I say, “of course, why wouldn’t that happen today?” I think bird poop is so disturbing, maybe more than human poop. It was very hard to enjoy lunch after all the pooping that had taken place.

Now I can say that I am clean, my baby is clean, and the stroller is clean.

apparently great minds think alike. i hate to think of the trouble they’ll get into when they are actually old enough to converse about ways to drive the kru mamas mad.

thanks for adding the bit about you, your daughter, and your stroller being clean. my OCD self may have lost some sleep over that.
